People, we need to secure our nation again. Gain control of
our borders and ports, and secure what's left of our industry and economy and reputation. We need to ACT NOW. Then turn to assisting the disenfranchised of the world. Let's take care of this nation first, for we are in a very much compromised position and are of no use to ourselves, let alone others.

3. Cast down your bucket where you are
As Booker T. Washington said once in a speech. Take care of our own so that we can take care of others.

4. This whole port thing makes me feel
like I've walked through the looking glass. I can't believe the Republicans are going for this. And then I hear Carter say it's okay. I guess I just don't understand the details, but on the face it's lunacy.

5. It's not okay. It stinks. Trust your gut instincts. On the face of it,
it smells to high heaven. Thus far we've sold our industries out, allowed thievery on a scale undreamed of, and now we're selling out our ports and transportation system. At best, our infrastructure is being dismantled and we'll own no assets as a nation of debtors. At worst, we open the gates to invasion.

6. In a few years it'll all make sense ya know .......
even the part where politicians exclaimed it was only a matter of time when a :nuke: went off in one of our cities. Well exactly :wtf: were they thinking when they sold our ports to the UAE in 2006 anyway? You tell me? just  Did DHS okay this? Did they think it through or did it hit them one day like 'I coulda had a V-8' moment? Where are those 'Minutemen' on our borders when you need them? :sarcasm: My Gawwd it's like one big joke after another ....... everything this administration does, and any right wing response to it just gets more and more absurd. Peace. :freak:

9. And Peace to you
because sometimes sitting is all you can do.

I'm becoming increasingly afraid there is running in my future, and I don't move too fast.
