Are all P&O ports in North America included in the sale to DP?
Does anyone know? If they are, P&O has a majority share in all of the following, not just the big 6 mentioned in the news, and would control most of the ports along the Gulf coast:

Texas: Beaumont, Houston, Galveston, Freeport, Corpus Christi, Port Arthur

Louisiana: Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, New Orleans

Mississippi: Gulfport

Florida: Miami

Other East Coast Ports: Norfolk, Wilmington, Baltimore, Camden, Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Boston, Portland, Davisville

Here's the link to the P&O North America map: http://portal.pohub.com/portal/page?_pageid=169,1,169_82863&_dad=pogprtl&_schema=POGPRTL

2. wasn't the entire company sold? . . .
if that's the case, then all of their assets would be included in the sale . . . no? . . .

3. I would think the fact that DP would control most Gulf Coast ports
and a major US inland waterway system would be a HUGE deal and someone would have mentioned that if all the ports were included in the sale. I read the proposed sale information, and it appears that DP would own it all. Why isn't anyone bringing this up, instead of just focusing on the big 6 ports? New Orleans and Baton Rouge allow them control of the shipping on the Mississippi River for crying out loud! And a lot of the infrastructure and supplies for off-shore drilling in the Gulf is shipped through the Texas ports of Lake Arthur, Beaumont and Houston. This is crazy!
