ATTENTION PUBLIC FIGURES; say the word, say it - REPUBLICAN!
Edited on Tue Feb-21-06 02:06 AM by upi402
I get so frustrated hearing our Democrats speak on TV and shy away from just saying things straight out.
Plain, simple, and in sound bite nuggets is the way 'mericans can hear your message.

WE ARE DUM AS F*CK

Call them REPUBLICANS.
Nobody understands civility anymore. Say it straight. Don't say, "the other side" or "them/they" or "My esteemed colleague".

Say BUSH. Don't say, "the President". He stole the election. Say that too. Let the media traitors question you. Just give them a wry smile like you know what traitors they are.

Say it short and harsh. Call the name. Yes, it should be different, but the media was allowed to escape the fairness doctrine. It is not fair, it is not civil.

6. If the Republicans started to call us "Dims", how would we react?
We need civility in politics and civility does win elections.

7. But they do it all the time. And it works!
i'm just saying place blame where it belongs.
not saying use abusive labels like, traitor, criminal, indicted jerk, US treasury looter, ad infinitum.
say, REPUBLICANS when you are stating their crimes to the public.
allow the public to know and to remember which party is betraying democracy.

they have turned LIBERAL into a perjorative.

it works. watch Faux News and then listen to the folks at work. they parrot that crap. then they internalize it after hearing it enough.

THEY need civility, our Dems have it, even when it is not deserved. and until Republicans show that they can behave in a civil manner, they can just eat their own medicine -and they really really hate that.

America does not have time for the battered spouse dillusion- that the batterers will change.
"THIS TIME MAYBE IT WILL BE DIFFERENT".
