Fire CHERTOFF. This is not a partisan issue. He's a "Moran"
and has no business being in such a high level position in the federal government. He actually makes the island-hopping, tax-payer money wasting, belly-dancing, lovably dopy curmudgeon, Tom Ridge, look good by comparison.

GET RID OF THIS cadaverous man who proclaims to have all the answers but spends most of the time being proven wrong, incompetent or all of the above.

3. What? Demand Accountability. The Shame Of It All...
Remember, this is macho preznit. He still probably will say he can't think of a mistake he's made and sure as hell won't give you or me or any sane person the "satisfaction" of accepting such a notion.

Chertoff's a fixer...he's keeping the grease flowing and the bodies buried. He knows too much about this regime's corruption and he's critical in making sure the patronage and special interests are taken care of.

If this regime can't get rid of an incompetant criminal like von Rumsfeldt, ya think they're gonna admit a mistake and sacrafice Chertoff? Well, if they do that, he might just get a whiff of human decency, write a book and come clean of his involvement (like Brownie) and embarass the bosses...and this regime can't have any of that.

The goofy thing is, with all the scandals this regime is now bogged down with, I expect the NOLA post-mortum to fade quickly as other messes get in the way.

But then, what would happen if this regime fired Chertoff? He'd probably join Brownie and work for old bushbot pal, Joe Albaugh.

6. Are the Neocons with America or Against us?
Edited on Tue Feb-21-06 09:23 AM by Hubert Flottz
Name one good thing the neocons have done for the country, if you can...They say they stopped terrorist attacks in this country and they can't even prove that. If they have nothing to hide, then WHY do they ALWAYS...HIDE...EVERYTHING?

"Saddam Hussein has not credibly explained these activities. He clearly has much to hide."

President Delivers "State of the Union"

Snip>

"Today, the gravest danger in the war on terror, the gravest danger facing America and the world, is outlaw regimes that seek and possess nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. These regimes could use such weapons for blackmail, terror, and mass murder. They could also give or sell those weapons to terrorist allies, who would use them without the least hesitation."

Snip>

"Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike? If this threat is permitted to fully and suddenly emerge, all actions, all words, and all recriminations would come too late. Trusting in the sanity and restraint of Saddam Hussein is not a strategy, and it is not an option. (Applause.)"

Snip>

"Sending Americans into battle is the most profound decision a President can make. The technologies of war have changed; the risks and suffering of war have not. For the brave Americans who bear the risk, no victory is free from sorrow. This nation fights reluctantly, because we know the cost and we dread the days of mourning that always come."

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/01/20030128-19.html

The only thing that has really changed since 9/11 is the increased hatred in the Middle East for America. If Bush is so afraid of the terrorists attacking America as he claims he is, why hasn't he done EVERYTHING that can be done to REALLY protect the country? What have we gotten for all our dollars spent in Bush's war on terror? Do you feel any safer today than you did in 2000, before Bush TOOK OVER?

"Today, the gravest danger in the war on terror, the gravest danger facing America and the world, is outlaw regimes that seek and possess nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. These regimes could use such weapons for blackmail, terror, and mass murder. They could also give or sell those weapons to terrorist allies, who would use them without the least hesitation."(What has changed so much since then that makes Bush think it's safe to put American Ports Of Entry, in the hands of terrorists and terrorist enablers?)
