What is * -really- up to with this port business? There has GOT to be
something going on that we haven't doped out yet. Something wicked, methinks.

1. Maybe he is heavily invested in the subcontracting entities that will
do the actual work....maybe he or his paw made some kind of deal with the boys in Dubai to ensure certain subcontractors get work at these facilities...who knows?? Follow the money...find out who benefits....that usually provides the answer.

9. Hell, they aren't like Frist--they don't get caught fiddling with their
"blind trusts"--never put anything in writing, and whose the wiser? Use a go-between, a cut-away, and keep yourself distant from the portfolio...on paper, anyway.

are the way around it.

4. one of the steps in controlling a country is by taking over their shipping
ports. And/or destroying them.

13. Someone explain to me how Bush's brain worked out this contradiction:
Edited on Tue Feb-21-06 04:24 PM by kenny blankenship
For reasons of national security, we must not be hostage to foreign oil, prices for which are set by the majority producer nations around the Arab Persian Gulf, since everyone knows we are at war with extreme forces hailing from that part of the world, BUT-

but, we must sell our ports to them.

WTF?

14. PsyOps for the 2006 election

* is unpopular. The Repuke leadership has sucked up to the president in every insane thing he has done. Illegal dometic wire tapping, torture, etc.......

They need to show that they have some type of back bone before the next election.

What better way than to set up a straw man and allow the Repuke leadership to beat up on him a little bit.

And after all, What does the president have to loose?

My answer, Absolutly nothing.

Think about it. If you follow their tactics, they employ some pretty sophisticated operations to get their way. Just look at how they are manipuliting the media with the war in Iraq. It's beyond scary and the black bag seems to be wide open for this administration. Nothing is beyond them. And I do mean nothing.

15. Considering how Katrina, Iraq, the Cheney shooting story went.
I've come to the conclusion that these people are too moronic to set up any diabolical scheme that's close to intricate. I think it is what it is: Pure greed and arrogance on his part for not taking this seriously..

16. I think there's something else to this also.
The Bush admin. is selling these ports to the UAE for a purpose other than money. I'm puzzled.
