Why can't Americans secure American ports
Edited on Tue Feb-21-06 05:36 PM by dave29
what message does it send to Americans that our Government trusts our security in the hands of the United Arab Emirates more than it does us?

First they spy on us, now they outsource our security.

1. Maybe controlling our ports ...
... a contract that will generate millions of dollars in annual profits for the company that does so, is ANOTHER one of those jobs that American's just don't want to do.

2. Because then people like the Bushs, Armstrongs and Baker don't
get invited to the "A" Cocktail parties of the rich and obscenely rich.

...than John Kerry or Hillary Clinton is it any surprise why shit like this will keep going on and become easier and easier for foreign countries to control our ports, our jobs, our wages and the economy? Look for Washington, DC to be purchased by China before the next presidential election.

5. Isn't this another example of outsourcing something
that costs American jobs? Also I'm curious what company or companies currently runs these ports. It seems * doesn't give a rats ass about Americans. This is UNCONSCIENCE CAPITALISM, money is the bottom line.

But I get flak.... because we are in a global economoy...blah..blah..blah...
Oh and then I hear about well it's the greedy Unions fault...

I say they are American Unions supporting American workers...

I just don't see Germany, Russia or anyother major nation doing something like this.

10. Americans cant buy ports . Why? Are we so broke?
UAE launders dirty drug money, and they have the money.

Bush rewards them for being corrupt and "helping" him in his unpopular quagmire. Thats a good way to create a future threat. What an idiot he is.
