A Medicare horror story from FL.
My aunt called about an hour ago to let me know that my uncle who just suffered a mild heart attack was doing ok. She also said that when my niece picked up his meds they were charged $118. My aunt immediately took the receipt and went to the pharmacy to complain since she and my uncle had signed up for the Medicare drug plan. When she raised hell with the pharmacist he told her that they were sorry but they were just too busy to check out all the Medicare drug policies but he checked their right then and refunded her $114.40. CAN YOU IMAGINE?!!! What about the poor people who do not understand their rights and who do not have either the time or ability to refute erroneous charges?
He told her that everything was still in a mess concerning the Medicare drug program and that they have been swamped with complaints and have been unable to bring their system up to date as far as Medicare coverage is concerned.

Fuck the UAE port deal. It's just another distraction to keep our minds off of what is happening to the majority of the people in this country, especially the elderly and the poor. And it gives the Republicans something to use to PRETEND they don't support Bush in everything.

3. My mother is having same problems!
I told her to switch to AARP medicare RX plan, she would have much less hassles and problems. I was paying out of pocket expense at $395.00 per month to $57.00 per month with AARP medicare RX plan. It's a huge savings for me with AARP.

4. Hug your relatives for me. I swear to god, I am so sorry this has
happened to them. Greatest generation. Die soon. That's all that's in the repuke's minds. I hope they do better and well done for your aunt.
