Is it too late to reinstate Saddam?
Yes, he was a Very Bad Man. But the world is full of VERY BAD MEN, we have one in the White House right now. But somehow we're supposed to believe that Iraq is better off now then they were before we toppled Saddam.

9. Maybe we could LIHOP this one
Wow, my very first post with this term!

What if we "accidentally" allowed him to escape, with some sort of secret agreement? Hell, we used to be best buddies back in the 1980s. Hey, sorry about that whole mix-up, you know, what with us invading your country and all. Let's just make up and be friends again.

3. Wait til the freepers latch onto this one.
Why on earth would we want to reinstate a murderer? Nothing good can come from that. This is really not an option people should be discussing.

7. Freeps always screech at FACTS.
Let the freepers screech all they like; Iraqis are worse off now than they were under Hussein...and that's just a fact.

5. If he is looking for employment
there will soon be an opening for a new President in Iran. Maybe Syria too.

6. Impossible after all this, however, they will end up with another Saddam
different in name only.
