1. Memo to McCain: No matter how much ass you kiss, they won't give you
back whatever incriminating evidence they have. Stand up and at least go out with your spine and balls in tact.

33. I keep going back to how easy McCain got off in Keating Five issue
Remember Savings & Loan scandals? Neil Bush? Largest tax payer bailout of a financial instution in US history? Well, there were lots of more minor scandals going on at the same time.

After the Keating Five issue was sorta settled, sorta swept under a rug, McCain got off pretty easy with most of his reputation in tact Am thinking somebody helped that happen and is calling in the marker now.

2. This is exactly what they expected
The administration expected us to "trust the prez, he is tough on terra!" or let this thing slip through without paying it any attention.

At first I was skeptical of this issue and how it came about. I considered it a possible ploy by the admin to help Republicans up for reelection to show how "tough" they are and show distance with the admin. Now it is increasingly clear that it is merely hubris and ego that these guys are working on. They only want power and be damned with the consequences on the people.

Like no one's ever given him the benefit of the doubt before. It would be like Russian Roulette to take your chances now.

18. "Bush - Surely one of these times will be the charm, right?"
What the f**k is that? Faith-based politics, that's what (well, actually, false idol worship, but you knew that!)

"He can't possibly get us stuck any deeper, right? I mean, the bus has just GOT to start getting unstuck soon, right"?

Good to hear about mom - see ya tonight!

10. Personally....
I'm sick and tired of that moran being given the benefit of the doubt. It is time someone sat him down and said, "NO, you are not chosen by God, and you can't have everything you want." Course, no one will, but one can always hope.

BushCo needs to stuff some bullshit down our collective throats...Then, out they trot old McCain. As if we believe this old republican asshole McCain is actually better than the rest of the lying, greedy old slobs in the GOP!!!!

BushCo keeps promising McCain, if he plays ball they'll back him as president...and McCain knows very well who controls those republican owned electronic voting machines...

But who in their right mind would trust vindictive for kicks BushCo to keep their word? Enough said!!!

26. You can't give King George the benefit of the doubt to do anything.
For starters, the man doesn't know truth from lies. New Orleans gave him the benefit of the doubt and figured he'd deliver the promised pile of reconstruction cash. How's that working out?
