...but I'd be interested to hear my own precinct watchers answer as to how vigilant they were last time - what kind of attitude did they bring to it? Did they go in on alert, aiming to make sure there were no disruptions or problems, or did any of them feel a resignation that - "probably won't do much good anyway..."? I'd want to know what commitment was in place, or in progress, to make sure none of that latter attitude arrives with precinct workers next time. I'd want to know what safeguards were tried before, and what are being proposed for this next one, and if there were safeguards implemented before, how well or poorly they worked. In this case, if you had too few machines, are you guys ready to have the correct number this time - are you anticipating for and gearing up for perhaps a larger-than-expected voter turnout? Remember: people are MAD this year, and when they're mad like this, they do tend to vote more. This is turning into a banner "throw the bums OUT" year, seems to me.
I think I'd want to know most of all: are you MY Democratic precinct workers? Do you take this seriously, as I do?
Don't know what kind of Democrat you have here. Is she a real Dem or a DINO?
Good luck to you! I'm sure you'll acquit yourself superbly!
