We Need to Ban Privatization of America
Edited on Fri Feb-24-06 08:49 PM by stepnw1f
This should be an issue for the Dems this year more than anything else. The GOP means to cut and parcel our country to corporate ownership. We need to bang the drum on this issue more loudly. I really don't think the GOP can win this one, and by using this tactic we get to expose the GOP's real agenda...

Think about what has illuminated the GOP's desire to privatize America and destroy our government. Katrina, finacing an illegal war and now these Ports. Remember, that they don't campaign and tell their own what they truly intend to do, once they are in power. Only the fruitcake neo-cons know, the rest have no idea, but just buy into the cultural issues. This port deal freaked them out, even their staunchest supporters at FR were upset. Have ya talked to the average Joe Republican yet, about this port deal? I and many others have, and they are PISSED!

So let's bang that drum... America for all Americans... keep your greedy hands off our flag!... you can't sell what you don't own

add your own.

1. If I can't trust a private company to count the votes, who can I trust?
:sarcasm:

3. LOL!
We didn't vote for this, so all we can do is wait and see how much longer the fools that did vote for Bush are willing to take it.

4. I'm sorry, but you are confusing the hell out of me.
The only thing you can move from corporate ownership ie: privatization is government works. All other business besides government are already owned by someone whether it be private or corporate ownership, large or small.

The question is whether or not it is American corporations that own america, not foreign investors.

Moving government works into privatization and whether or not America is owned by Americans are two different things.

Maybe it was the way you wrote it.

7. Ok.
"We Need to Ban Privatization of America".............."you can't sell what you don't own"

I know what you meant by your post. What threw me was your word "Privatization"

The definition of "Privatization"

The transfer of ownership from government owned to a privately owned corporation. How that applies to the port deal is unknown to me?

BTW, I agree with your premise, too bad you were such an asshat to me.
