When Dean said it, he was a traitor.

http://glenngreenwald.blogspot.com/2006/02/dying-presidency.html

A few months ago, when Howard Dean said that he thought we would be unable to fulfill the mission in Iraq as Bush has described it, he was denounced as a traitor and Ronald Reagan's son urged that he be hanged -- literally. And yet, now we have William Buckley saying that our mission failed and it's time for Bush to acknowledge defeat. Will they hang him, too? Once we hang all the tratiors and subversives who have abandoned Bush, there sure won't be many people left.

1. It's the liberal Curse. To see things more or less clearly
a little before others do.

6. That's right. The Thugs have been cultivating hatred

for so long. What will they do when it turns on them.

8. They've been calling Gore at traitor over Iraq since Sept 02
Bet poor William F. Buckley never thought he'd be standing next to Al Gore when they lined him up against the wall.

9. They wanted to hang Dean when Sadaam was captured
and he said that we aren't safer now. It was true then and it is true now.

Howard Dean speaks for me!

10. I just read this and thought I was dreaming. R. Reagan's son,
and I forgot there was anyone other than Ron, Jr. Phew.
But I cannot even imagine their conversations, Nancy and Patty, Ron Jr. and 'the evil one'.

Those that haven't sipped the kool-aid know we have big problems!

11. And many said he did not speak for them.
Many Democrats scurried into their "spider holes of denial", remember that term?

Recommended.

They said he was not fit to be president when he said we were no safer with Saddam captured.

12. Well things have changed.
Being branded a traitor is what makes men like Dean men of courage. It just shows that he's got more leadership than Buckley.
