is anyone familiar with the Clinton-George The First corruption story?
I've read tha Clinton discovered enormous corruption, missing money, etc. when he took office and chose not to prosecute the first bush's gang (Cheney's gang) because it would have undermined the public's faith in their government.

Has anyone else heard of this?

1. I've never heard of it - but it wouldn't surprise me at all.
I would not be surprised that there were major discrepancies in money; and it wouldn't surprise that if Clinton found them, he wouldn't pursue it, for just the reason you gave.

I hae no idea, though.

3. I know a good bit about the BCCI scandal
But I remember reading about Clinton having discovered accounting irregularities of staggering amounts, but giving it up about the same time he abandoned the American people on the health care and other issues ('93?).
