That is what I have noticed, they speak the talking points but that seems to be the level of their understanding of even the simplest issues. Their lack of historical context leaves me baffled every time. I avoid even talking to republican anymore, I don't have enough time in rest of my life to bring them up to speed. They won't listen anyway.
