12. Hmm... I went to the site and I'm still confused.

I live in one of those green states -- New York -- but as far as I know, I'm not getting any kind of paper ballot. In fact, our old lever machines are being replaced with electronic machines. And I've heard that four out of five people this fall will be using electronic touch screen machines.

What exactly is this about, then? Do I have it wrong??

Only VVPBs provide a permanent, auditable record of voter intent. But the bills were left in committee when the session ended, before they could be made law.
