And the jocularity, frivolity, nakeditity, bead tossing, mass alcohol consumption, fried chicken eating, FEMA trashing, erster snorting, breast exposing, balcony copulating and a whole lot more will continue until the Krewe of Garbage rolls at midnight. Then, Catholics will go to church tomorrow to receive their ashes and the hurricane cleanup will continue in earnest once again. Let the Good Times Roll!

When I was stationed in Philadelphia back in the 80's my wife and I took a trip to Lancaster and ate at one of those family type Amish restaurants. Wow, what a spread. Beautiful country and the food was incredible. No gumbo though.

We have a new Catholic bishop in our diocese who has handed down the final word - tomorrow is officially a fish day (haven't seen that mandated in years - this one is a Yankee originally from Phila., must have been scandalized to see how loosy-goosy we Southern RCs are).
