Just did a google search to see if any petitions or organizations are doing anything to stop the sale of the ports...as of page 6 I couldnt find anything other than a reference to Malkin from Maryland having a petition with 1300 names....if more than 80% of americans are opposed...and the deal is being shoved down our throats...WHY are we just shuffling with the same okie doke?....Oh yeah, right, depend on Congress to get the job done?....Ha....no one is even questioning the rubber stamping of this crap? HELLLOOOOO....????

5. Well, I think the topic for today is Specter's pardon bill for the

wire taps. You see, they're going to claim that Bush did illegal wiretapping for national security reasons and that such wiretapping should be deemed legal. A retro-active legislative move so that Bush can avoid the punishment he deserves. And that would be very difficult to sell to the public if the newspapers were reporting that the Bush Administration didn't consider national security when they approved the Ports deal, now would it? It would show that national security is not a concern at all for this Administration and it would lead people to ask the question, "What IS a priority for this Administration?"

Well, we all know the answer to that is free trade, but that's beside the point.
