If all they do is lose an election over this, or even a chamber of Congress, justice will still be very far from served. These criminals trashed the Constitution, blatantly lied to the American people and the world, drained the treasury, degraded the political culture... They will never be able to pay back all the damage they've done.

1. IMO, impeachment not even enough. Jailtime.
If an employee is caught emblezzling funds from the company and taking bribes, you don't just fire him. You throw the sucker and all his conspirators in jail and get the money back.

3. Impeach - Prosecute - Incarcerate
Nothing less is acceptable.

4. If I were not against the death penalty
I would call for execution for treason.
Treason is punishable by death.

But I want them to rot in jail for a very long time.

2. I agree
They should be on trial in the Hague.

However, the best thing for the country is utter and total disgrace to the point that no one for the next fifty years wants to be like Bush. Punishing these individuals in itself doesn't accomplish that. So, low poll numbers are important.

5. Send Them to the Hague
Edited on Tue Feb-28-06 12:18 PM by AndyTiedye
The way to begin to put this behind us and begin to heal our relations with the world
is to turn Bush, Cheney, et. al. over to the International Criminal Court in the Hague
for prosecution for war crimes.

The Peace Palace, The Hague, Netherlands

The International Criminal Court.

The Prison Wing.

6. Their lawyers seem to have operated on the assumption
that their actions--their treatment of detainees in particular--would make them vulnerable to prosecution. Yoo, et al., seemed to view their jobs as official excusers of war criminal behavior.

7. Amen. Until they're imprisoned for 25-to-life, we have NO justice.

I will not and cannot recite "with liberty and justice for all" ever again until the criminals of this regime are imprisoned. Anything short of that is gross injustice.
