Here's one preview from the book, titled "Strategery," as Sammon describes it:

<snip>

"And Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman, who steadfastly refused to defend Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth when he ran Bush's campaign, now calls them 'heroes' who played a crucial role in vanquishing Kerry.

7. And they were funded by my ex's cousin....
Bobby Jack Perry from Houston

Yeah, good 'ol Bobby Jerk

Forced out as a preacher by the Southern Baptists (too boring and psychotic)
Forced to resign as ass't football coach at Baylor for his incessant fundie prosylitizing (at Baylor, no less).
On the brink of financial and personal disaster, put into the Homebuilding business (by my late Father-in-Law)with zero personal investment but GUARANTEED success.

Sound familiar?

Hey Bobby Fuck, if any of your toadies are reading this (and I would not doubt it at all),

GO FUCK YOURSELF!

because I know Doylene ain't.

fucker.

You know where I am.

2. Wow this book has everyone in it
It appears to be the definitive (from their standpoint) book on the Bush administration. It might actually be worth a read just so we know how they are going to try to rewrite history and establish W's legacy.

3. I'm shocked, shocked that he would have been dishonest

about his true views on the Swift Boating of Kerry.

Would this be huge news if Dean had done anything of this sort? Yes, yes it would.

6. Leaders of the SWifties
tried to cover "who knew what when, and who screwed up" in the "Friendly Fire" fatalities of two members of Coastal Force ONE. and who covered it up.

This is the personal loyalty, integrity, character, and fundamental honesty of the Swift Boat Veterajns for Truth -- they covered up "Who Knew What, When Did They Know it, and Who Screwed Up?"

8. Yeah, in Lee Atwater's book, they may be
In their Alice in Wonderland idea of how politics is done, the dirtier the better. The guys who've dished the most shit end up the most "heroic."

I hope Atwater's legacy finally dies with Rove (along with dirty politics of this ilk).
