CNN POLL-HOW BAD IS IT? 38% Approve
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 04:13 PM by kpete
Just now on CNN

edit to add:

Poll: Bush approval at 38 percent amid Iraq, management concerns

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush's approval rating is mired near its record low amid concerns about his ability to manage the government and pessimism over the war in Iraq, according to a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Thursday.

The poll, conducted Tuesday and Wednesday, found Bush's approval rating at 38 percent -- down a percentage point from a mid-February survey and just a point above his record low of 37 percent in November. His disapproval rating was 60 percent, tying November's worst-ever mark.

Of the 1,020 adults surveyed, 59 percent said Bush can't manage the government effectively, and 58 percent said he is not paying enough attention to what his administration was doing. Fifty-two percent of those surveyed said they consider Bush a strong leader, the poll found.

But only 47 percent said they consider him honest and trustworthy, and 73 percent said they believe big business has too much of an influence over his administration. The survey had a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. (Posted 4:06 p.m.)

26. My heart goes out to you converted.
But if you think yooou live in a red neighborhood, think about how, through my whole miserable existence, I have had to be out numbered by Repukes. Right now I can probably see three cars with Bush stickers. But hey, I am going to kick out the jambs when the chimp hits 33%. Right now I have my shades pulled so no one sees me writing this.

39% batting would lead the leage in hitting, so the president is doing real good. He couldn't possibly do gooder.

Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 04:26 PM by underpants
So clearly it isn't accurate

Yeah yeah that's right Bob that 73 percent said they believe big business has too much of an influence over his administration could really only be 70%

Yep Fred it sure could

18. So, figger that the poll coulda said 37% approve.
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 05:16 PM by Jackpine Radical
The margin of error would a still been 3 points, which means it coulda actually been 40%. And if it had been 40%, with a margin of error that would have still been 3 points, which means it coulda actually been 43%.

Hot damn! The Bush approval rating is actually 98% within a 3% margin of error.

See, Homer? The Goddam liberal press is lyin agin.

41. nope
I saw a poll where only 3% of those polled would admit to being republicans. My sister
says that is the way it was after Nixon. No one would admit to voting for him.

33. Ignorance is contagious....
I recently read where 30% of Americans surveyed still believe that Saddam was involved in 9/11. I guess it's those same inflexible, frontal-lobe challenged individuals that will continue to support Mr. Bush NO MATTER WHAT. Too bad Mother Nature hasn't (yet) devised a virus that eliminates its host based on the host's levels of ignorance and mean-spiritedness. Ahhh, wouldn't it be sweet.
