So Tweety is having a special show on Friday
I just saw the commercial. He is going to interview every Republican presidential candidate to see "Who will be president".

Yep, that's right. No mention of Democrat candidates. So I take it Tweety is just assuming a Republican will be elected in 2008?

Sounds to me like Mr. Matthews needs to hear from some DUers. :)

And while you are at it, here's a survey
"Is Chris Matthews honest?"

1. I smell a Medal of Freedom...!! and a trip to the ranch to slaughter birds
the last trip they released 500 birds, 417 were slaughtered, Cheney killed 70 and shot a lawyer, who got a reprieve by begging begging for mercy and going belly up in a submissive posture

2. Not worth the trouble.. MSRNC made their choice long ago
They (and CNN) are stuck on republicans and right wing nonsense.. Just don't even bother to watch,.,

The thing is.. they KNOW it makes liberals nuts, and even though they refuse to schedule anything even remotely interesting TO us, they know that by being 100% AGAINST what we believe, that we will tune in anyway..just to scream at the TV :)

They will not have any Dems on because every one I have heard even mentioned, is playing it cagey..

Hillary is running for re-election to the senate, so they know SHE doesn't dare announce for '08 (she's not my choice)...

I am glad no dems are showing up..
I wish ALL dems would totally boycott the screaming head shows.. Let them just interview each other and republicans.. That would say more than the 15 second bludgeoning interrupt-a-thon that current dem "guests" get anyway

It's the best news show on TV, IMO.

8. Is Tweety Bush's Sweetie?
Love in the springtime...it's the thing soap operas are made of! I'm not really a big daytime drama fan Chris! I'll watch the March Madness my way Chris, you watch it yours!

He'd puff on the bidness end of one the Clydesdales couldn't pull, is my guess, if the other end was attached to a neoconster.("play dingle dangle dingle with the personal refrigments of his own gender")

10. Tweety
When I go to NYC this week, if I stand on the corner of 8th and Broadway, if I bring a megaphone and scream "Tweety is a has been" more people will hear that than watch the show at either 5 or 7 PM.

That is how little influence he has, and if you think a half hour of your day to watch him isn't wasteful, you can come and do my yard cleanup instead this spring.

Why don't any of the Democrats show up on his show anymore? Ya think it's because of his bias and lack of viewers?

12. Ahhh...Let's Wish 2006 Away, Eh Tweety?
Edited on Mon Mar-06-06 09:01 AM by KharmaTrain
I'm critical of Democrats who play the 2008 game as how can anyone predict what the political climate of this country will be in 6 weeks from now less 2 years or more. It's all a popularity game...it's like rooting for your favorite team or player during the off season...something to talk about when other issues aren't as much fun.

This also gives Tweety a platform to do his favorite thing...Hillary bash. This dude has a real issue with her and seems to find someway to take a shot at her on every show. Here he can feed the "Big Bad Hillary is running" meme for a full hour and play off the wingnuts. It also is more fun to do than talk about one's role in knowing about Valerie Plame's leaker or being a part of a Jack Abramoff "charity".

This is the stuff that gets Tweety on the A-List at the salons and drinkie-drinkie parties where he holds court like Commander McBragg about what a "kingmaker he is".

Actually I'd like a show like this...see if he can get the leading Repugnican slime merchants on there and let them verbally go after each other.

On edit: Didn't I read somewhere that Tweety's show will be re-run at 11pm ET this week bumping bowtie boy to nowhereland?

14. He also advertized he would have show on Swiftboating-including
Murtha--but when time came, he did not have show-and no word about it.
