Boxer Says "Yes" to Censure (according to Kos poster)
Edited on Tue Mar-14-06 01:49 PM by JohnnyCougar
Boxer has just switched her position to "yes" on censure. Is there anyone that can verify this?

That makes Kerry, Boxer and Russ himself so far.

8. I wouldn't take Durbin for granted...
...but if we let him know our opinion, I think we can get him.

a Democrat would come out in favor.

I think Reid was right to take the stand he did and Feingold was right to be the front man.

If I'm reading the strategy with the Democrats, on each issue there is a Sentinel, that Sentinel tests the waters and then they figure which way to go.

Why let all your eggs out of the basket at the same time.

7. That is a good analysis.
Too many people are already calling this a failure when nobody has really decided yet.

If we keep calling our representatives, that will certainly help them decide.

9. I think we can count on Sen Byrd also
because Byrd loves the Senate more than he loves the Democratic Party and he will see this a preservation of the Senate's prerogative.

11. We need a DEBATE! That's what the censure is all about.
I can't believe that the lilly-livered Dems are such traitors! I'm sick of these people for not standing up for what they know is the RIGHT THING TO DO! Fuck politics. This is OUR COUNTRY they are messing with.

Peace.

16. The understanding I got yesterday is that
this is going to the Judiciary Committee. I don't think the Democrats have agreed to any vote.

Russ himself said, if he doesn't get adequate answers in the committee, then he will ask for a "full Senate vote." I swear that's what I heard him say.

18. Feingold's taking it to judiciary committee - let's hope he gets more
support there and let it build.

It's time for contacting other senators, not attacking them when the process has not yet played out.

Boxer and Feinstein, and said please support Sen. Feingold in reining in this out of control administration.
