Do we own the world and don't even know it?
According to RW'ers, we control:

The Media

Hollywood

The Courts

Public Education

Universities

Geez, who knew Liberals secretly had so much power?

I've had enough of being left out of all the action, I'm going to contact our Supreme Overlords at the ACLU today and demand that I become the head of one of these things.

1. I wouldn't bother
Those ACLU guys are snobs. Your much better of going up to your local judge. Just give him the secret liberal handshake, and before you know it, you'll be managing your own fortune 300 company.

2. WELL, let's see . . .
The Media - Um, that's a giant HELL NO on that one.

Hollywood - Definitely not the business side. Talent side, maybe.

The Courts - 5-4 in favor of Bewsh, all I got to say.

Public Education - WRONG-O. Because if we did, it wouldn't be the hugh mess it is now.

Universities - PLEASE.

3. In A Way We Do...In A Way They Do
American culture is a powerful force around the world. So is the symbolism of American democracy and the concept of America as being the "land of opportunity". This was developed over 100 years by Hollywood, the courts and all the things you mentioned. It created an American identity that we exported in movies, on television, on fax machines and now on websites and blogs. Never had ideas flowed as they have via the mass media over the past 50 years.

Inversely, this culture created a myopia inside the United States. A mass communications created stereotypes that spread simultaneously from coast to coast. The lazy mexican, the Irish cop, the Italian mobster and so on. The American view became jaded by the stereotypes and images...many portrayed by the same mass media that have led some many to believe that America is superior in all ways and means. Since they see the U.S. as the leader in power and money...and how the American lifestyle is so elegantly portrayed in the mass media, it's seen as being superior to other cultures and has put blinders on many people. Thus when they are called to take off those blinders they call it "librul bias".

4. When and if the Republicans wake up, they will find that
there is very little any Americans own and control in this country anymore.
