Howard Kaloogian's site gone?
Is it just me or is it gone, showing the original template of the website which his was designed on? Silverdollar1.com? What a joke.

Check here: http://www.kaloogianforcongress.com/aboutus.asp?id06=116&par06=104#

1. None of the links to it worked for me yesterday.
I think they yanked it pretty quick when the excrement became spatially coincident with the mass-airflow promotion device.

6. Worked for me this morning.
I just think it's funny that they now show the exact design for his site about some coin-store. They must use this tempalet for every client. ;)

9. I think that there may be more to it than we know. The picture
thing may have simply shown a light into a whole host of lies and deceptions that has caused his little make-believe world to crash and burn. For instance: Was the trip real? Who went? Where did they actually go? When was the trip? Who paid for it? What else is he into and with whom?

Shit may not just be hitting the fan, it may be coming down in 500 lbs. bunker-busters wherever he sticks out his head...

5. Might want to lookup the history of Silverdollar1.com....
Just on the principle that anything these guys are connected to
is probably CROOKED.

A certain repub in Ohio was very fond of silver dollars, you know.

Where his biography was, there's now 'Coin History.'

15. And all the stuff there still has his old site's addresses....
Yeah, I'm guessing this was the original site,
and he just plugged his stuff into the template.

Now he's restored it to original; is this an attempt
to pretend that hiding the site is a 'glitch'?
It just seems like an odd way to go
to remove a website.

I'm wondering how long he owned it BEFORE
it was converted to his campaign site,
and what he was using it for back then.

He's obviously not very Web-Savvy;
it wouldn't surprise me if he just handed us
another present here.

18. I don't think
he had anything to do with this coin site. It might be - by whatever glitch they now produce - that his webhost, who was also designing his page, just went back to a design template. I'm not sure why they couldn't be just a blank page or an error page. I wouldn't assume that he ownes silverdollar1.com.

21. Yes, perhaps...but SilverDollar1 is no template, it's an actual site.

Silver Dollar 1

Helen, GA 30545

I'm looking around, but I can't seem to find any info
about who owns it, nor any history on it.

24. This one is registered through Tucows,
so it's hard to get the actual owner of the site through a simple WHOIS. I mean, yes, who really knows?

Why is there suddenly a link to Silver coin sales....

...And how can we connect these to the Republican Ohio coingate scandal? :P

13. More evidence
that the 'webmaster' screwed up you mean? First, it was only a wrong picture (but you have to admit, there are muslims in Istanbul and Iraq, so what's the big difference?), but now the link to the coingate scandal?

Might all be fake (blame the 'webmaster' or the guy from '1-hour-photo'.)

it is the weather forecast for Helen, GA. That's a small alpine-style tourist town in the Georgia mountains.

27. Yes,
Edited on Thu Mar-30-06 11:16 AM by Call Me Wesley
but I still think that's just an old template the host/designer once had to built Kaloogian's site on. Why this stuff shows up is a big miracle to me. And I'm a webmaster for several sites. You don't produce stuff like this.

On edit: The page source says the following:

"MDKSDemo.com - a Place to test drive elegant Websites driven dynamically via database content"

26. Exactly.
I think Congress is just a step too far away from him. And since he was so proud mentioning his efforts in the Reagan anti-smear campaign, as well as his efforts in the anti-Cindy Sheehan movement, he might look now for somebody who does the same for him. :)
