a mortar attack is 1 of the most horrifying experiences possible. they come out of no-where, and each burst spews "daisy-cutter" shards of schrapnel horizontally for yards. the shards spin, whistling & whining and the near misses damn near stop your heart. deaths are less common than horribly maiming, agonizing wounds.

THERE IS NO HONOUR OR GLAMOUR IN THIS CARNAGE; not for us or them. and i try so very hard not to imagine what it must be like from the perspective of an 8 YO iraqi kid caught up in the greed of rich monsters.

thanks, sincerely, for providing this clip. people that have not been subjected to this horror NEED to feel the reality of what's being done in our name.
