HELP! Recommend a good radio show for new contest (BI30)
BI30 is in need of assistance, and DU is just the place to ask.

Right now, I am busily working to launch the new "Bush-Republicans in 30 Seconds" ad contest, coming in May... this time, focusing on radio ads (my budget is very small).

I need recommendations for popular nationally syndicated radio shows on which to run the winning ad(s) so that we will reach the largest possible audience of potential *swing* or moderate voters that could be persuaded to vote Democratic and return a Democratic majority to the US Congress in 2006!

Recommendations don't necessarily need to be political in nature, nor do they even need to be talk radio at all. The only criteria is to reach the largest audience of potential voters.

The new "Bush Republicans in 30 Seconds" ad contest is brought to you by The "BI30 Archive", the largest collection of MoveOn.org 2004 contest entries on the Net.

(The "BI30 Archive" is not affiliated with MoveOn.org in any way.)

I have gained the ears of republicans at my work place by having them listen to Ed Schultz. The republicans were I work are managed by the Sheriff's Office....Is that red enough?

Run it especially in Ohio! Ed is on all over the state too.

4. "No one patches an old cloak with a piece of unshrunken cloth,
for its fullness pulls away from the cloak and the tear gets worse."

Instead of throwing good money down the toilet, spend your money on ads for Rock or Rap stations that do not have a steady stream of hate-mongers to ruin your message. If you post your ad on a Puke site, you merely give money to the already Rich and Evil and the return on your investment will be negligible. Seek new converts in places that the Pukes can't infect with their hatred.

"People do not put new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are ruined. Rather, they pour new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved."

The new Democrat is a beautiful sight to see. He or she is someone who becomes filled with the Patriotic spirit once they realize they can make a real positive change by participating in the system. The Republicans who are soured by the stain left by scumbags like Bush, Abramoff, Delay, Frist, Spectre, on and on and on, have already become rigid in their thinking and probably just won't vote. Trying to fill these soured Republican's with a New Wine is just going to ruin our message. If you're looking for new voters, go where the ground is fertile and not stained with hate.

"Hear then the parable of the sower.
The seed sown on the path is the one who hears the word of the kingdom without understanding it, and the evil one comes and steals away what was sown in his heart. The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and receives it at once with joy. But he has no root and lasts only for a time. When some tribulation or persecution comes because of the word, he immediately falls away. The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but then worldly anxiety and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit. But the seed sown on rich soil is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold."

The Republican masses are seeds planted among thorns; they are sycophantic drones who follow the money; trying to harvest these votes will just leave your hands bloody. Instead, turn your message toward those who would share our vision; if they only knew we existed.

5. All recomendations are welcomed.
As noted above, the recommendations do not need to be talk radio or even political in nature. We only need ideas for stations that will reach the largest possible audience of potential swing or moderate voters that can be convinced to vote Democratic in the next election.
