I don't think the blanket statement gives the full story. Did the majority of dems vote it down?

2. Numbers don't matter

There will be no card check, there will be no universal health care, there will be no end to the war on terror, there will be no end to the war on drugs, there will be no fixing of the public school system, there will be NOTHING, if we wait for politicians to give it to us. Either party. Its us against them, and its about time US start getting off of their asses and start taking the battle to THEM.

But I ain't holding my breath.

3. I 'd be surprised if you had even 40 votes for card check

And some of those who publicly committed to EFCA have reversed themselves and now oppose it!


Look at how few voted in favor of foreclosure relief, a less controversial issue. Only 45 voted in favor of that badly needed relief!
