Non-Union Workers Say School District is Shutting Them Out of Work
INDEPENDENCE, MO - In a tough economy, finding jobs has been hard for many metro construction workers. A multi-million dollar bond issue is helping one area school district put them back on the job, but some area builders say that they are being unfairly passed over for the work.

1. Union workers bring "high quality!"
They don't cut corners to save a few bucks. When people hire union workers they can count on the product.

2. That's how it's supposed to be, anyhow.
It's not always how it actually is, though.

4. And....
They're documented workers

They pay taxes

AND...

They have their own PRIVATE pension funds.

The republicans and tea party folks should love unions

6. if they're anything like the non-unionized construction workers around here,
They only take their pay in cash, so they can cheat their way out of paying their fair share of taxes. Cue the world's smallest violin for these non-union scabs.
