Inside an Anti-Union Seminar

http://unionreview.com/inside-anti-union-seminar

For aprox $1600 you to can sit through a seminar hosted by some anti-union lawyers (Jackson-Lewis) on how to keep your company Union free .

with such witty legal strategic advice as :

“We’re lucky to have a George Bush labor board,”

“What happens if this statement is a lie? They didn’t have another strike, there were no replacements? It’s still lawful: The labor board doesn’t really care if people are lying.”

All this after EnerSys (a South Carolina battery plant who used Jackson Lewis) , who was trying to keep the company non-union , settled with the NLRB on 120 counts of violations of labor law to the tune of $7.75 million , and in turn sued Jackson Lewis for engaging in what it termed “a relentless and unlawful campaign to oust the union.” . Which was settled with a gag order .

1. Very informative.
Card check legislation is a must.

Passing it would infuse new life into the union movement.
