Registered Nurses on the Picket Line (story & video)

http://www.wbko.com/news/headlines/10163046.html

Appalachian Regional Healthcare experiences it's second strike of the year.

Hundreds of registered nurses with the Kentucky and West Virginia Nurses Association are now on the picket line.

But while union members protest the ARH final contract proposal, permanent replacement nurses are hired.

Union members say more than 50-percent of their nurses joined the strike.

Union officials say with permanent replacement nurses being hired, this could end up in court.

Video at link.

2. No, they're lying.
The best they can do is get scab nurses from traveling agencies. Often those nurses aren't told they're scabs until they sign the contract and get to the job. Since their contract is with the agency, there isn't a whole lot they can do except make it their last contract and try another agency.
