WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A senior Democratic senator introduced on Friday legislation designed to get rid of a corporate tax break that allows companies to deduct more taxes than stock options expenses on their books.

The bill introduced by Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, has been endorsed by the Consumer Federation of America and the country's largest union federation, the AFL-CIO.

1. It's a start.
You know there's something seriously wrong with a country when a man who is a billionaire pays 17% tax...and his secretary pays more than 30%.

2. What effect if any would this have had on an Enron type company?
I am fairly ignorant about stocks and stock options.
