UFW Launches Exciting New Cesar Chavez Online Resource Page

You've told us you wanted an easy place to find all sorts of Cesar Chavez resources. We listened. We are proud to announce we just launched a new Cesar Chavez resource page at: http://www.ufw.org/cesarchavez.

This simple visual site offers an array of information on Cesar Chavez, including video about the UFW founder, audio from Cesar Chavez’s speeches, Chavez photos and other research materials. Also included is a calendar of Cesar Chavez events across the country and photos and videos of past observances.



This new webpage also offers the chance to sign the online petition for the National Cesar Chavez Holiday, the grassroots campaign organized by the Cesar E. Chavez National Holiday Coalition. If you haven't signed the petition, please do so today!

With the approach of Cesar Chavez’s March 31 birthday, now recognized as an official holiday in eight states, please visit http://www.ufw.org/cesarchavez and learn about Cesar’s legacy and the lessons of his life that are still relevant today.

It is the perfect resource for use by teachers and students, and to share with children, family and friends. Come visit the site, watch a video, listen to a speech, view the photos and even find a Cesar Chavez event you can attend. Then please take a moment to sign the petition for a National Cesar Chavez Holiday and tell your family members and friends to do the same.

Also please download copies of the petition, and as you attend a Cesar Chavez event encourage others to sign the petition as well. You can help support the Cesar E. Chavez National Holiday Coalition and all the hard work it is doing.
