The National Labor Relations Board in Hartford made a settlement between the board, Foxwoods Resort Casino and the United Auto Workers union public Tuesday.
Thirty-five claims of unfair labor practices against Foxwoods were resolved Monday when the casino reached a settlement agreement with the union and the labor board.
According to the settlement, Foxwoods must post notices immediately advising casino employees of their right to form, join or assist a union as specified in the National Labor Relations Act.
The notices, as prescribed by the settlement, must remain up for 60 consecutive days.
The settlement also ordered back pay plus interest for one dealer who was terminated and another dealer who was suspended. The sums of those payments equal $300 and $185 respectively, according to the settlement.
