1. Oh, yeah, this is great
They gotta make sure those Mexicans remain firmly in poverty, because nobody's making them learn the language that would enable them to better themselves in America. The unions would be doing them a bigger favor by providing English as Second Language (ESL) courses online, or referring them to places offering ESL education.

2. My great great grandfather came to America in his 20's

He never learned enough English to hold a simple conversation with strangers. He was an Emingger. He spoke German his entire life. It was the next generation that learned the English language.

Please note that America was a country of many languages when the Vikings arrived. Then Columbus. Once the pilgrims came they didn't learn the native tongue. Just saying.
