U.S. Supreme Court rules that undocumented workers do not have the same rights as Americans when they are wrongly fired - 2002


March 27, 1972 - Workers in Quebec, Canada, started a general strike. The walkout began to support locked out workers at the La Presse newspaper. It came to be known as the "Common Front" strike because it united formerly competitive trade union organizations.
