I came across this and thought it was nice. The Irish feel a connection to Obama since his family hails from the small village of Moneygall in Ireland.

1. ANY excuse to drink beer!
I kid! That was cute, and I had no idea his roots reach to Ireland. No wonder I like him so well!

13. Ah, I see, found the site.
I have no doubt many Irish-Americans have endorsed her, but many have endorsed Obama as well.

Richard Codey (Former Governor of New Jersey)
Hugh Carey (Former Governor of New York)
Jim Doyle (Governor of Wisconsin)
Dick Durbin (Sen. Illinois)
Chris Dodd (Sen. Conn.)
Ted Kennedy (Sen. Mass.)
Patrick Leahy (Sen. Vermont)
Patrick Kennedy (Rep. Washington)
Betty McCollum (Rep. Minn.)
James Moran (Rep. VA)
Chris Murphy (Rep. Conn.)
Patrick Murphy (Rep. PA)
Carol Shea-Porter (Rep. NJ)
Peter Welch (Rep. Vermont)
Joseph P. Riley (Mayor, Charleston, South Carolina)
Richard Daley (Mayor, Chicago)
Jerramiah Healy (Mayor, Jersey City)
Tom Barrett (Mayor, Milwaukee)
Mike Fahey (Mayor, Omaha, Nebraska)
Caroline Kennedy
Maria Shriver

Obviously an incomplete list, but I think it gives Clinton's a run for her money!

4. DI...that must warm your native heart, huh?
the kids got me, whenever I see cute kids like that, or Obama holding a baby, I go all blubbery. I blame it on old age, or it could be the Hennessy.

11. Yeah, I love seein' Obama being adopted by the Irish.
I bet when he's elected and goes there, he'll be greeted much like Kennedy. :)

I love how excited his "distant relative" Henry Healy seems about the whole process.

9. Japan, Ireland.. Etc..
Obama may be the first president in a long time that the world can actually respect. Perhaps he truly can restore the image of America to the world!

15. A delightful report!
The Irish have always been excellent pro-creators (as it were) so we now have our people everywhere. In just a short while we will have achieved our plan to take over the world. :toast:
