1. Good for McCain,
at least he didn't say, "as far as I know."

12. Yes at least he's not Hillary
I think John McCain would rather win fair and square unlike Hillary. I don't support McCain but the man still has some honor left. That's more than I can say about Hillary. Did I hear McCain sigh at pretty boy Sean. Too funny.

2. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Credit is given where it is due.

Hannity looked really annoyed he couldn't get McCain to condemn Obama.

6. The Road Less Traveled.
Kudos to McCain. Looks like he has chosen to debate this campaign on issues that matter, not the words of someone that Barack Obama has no control over. We would all be in serious trouble if we were held accountable for everything said by our friends, relatives and associates. As human beings, we will never always agree with everyone we associate with 100% of the time. Its just not plausible. That goes for Democrats, Republicans and Independents. Let's keep it real and focus on the important issues facing this country and move forward. In other words let's keep it on the HIGH ROAD and may the best candidate win.:patriot:

13. Thanks for posting this. McCain's coming off as more rational than Hillary now?
wow. Now how stupid and moronic does the Clinton Campaign look?

I loved the look of frustration on Hannity's face, as he sputters .."but, but he's been
going to that church for 20 years, and and.. " then McCain just shuts him up with the
truth.

lovely.

31. Well, McCain or his political advisors may realize ...
... that a few well-placed comments in defense of one Democratic candidate or the other may go a long way to gaining the votes of upset Democratic voters in November.

And McCain did all a person could do to dismiss it.

21. I used to really respect John McCain
I didn't agree with him all the time and i thought it was a shame what Bush did to him, God knows even McCain would've been better, especially teh McCain from 2000

but in recent eyras he has just lost all respect for him, this reminds me of the old McCain

24. Good for McCain
I don't want McCain for president anymore than the next Democrat, but wow, he really deserves credit here for sticking to his integrity. I'm not sayin' he's always honest or always fair, but I think he's proven now that he is all about competing with honor. I think we should all recognize when our opponents treat us with this kind of respect because it represents a rare commitment to principle that should be rewarded and praised. I, for one, want to live in a society where harsh gamesmanship is actively shunned and respect for one's opponents is actviely appreciated. And no, I'm not going to take this opportunity to rip on Hillary Clinton because that sort of trash-talking, even if it contains a kernel of truth, doesn't do any good and I have too much respect for my fellow Democrats who support her.

I don't like McCain (at least in his current incarnation) and even in previous incarnations I disagreed with much of his agenda, but at least he is showing decency here. More decency than a lot of DU lately.
