PS---You can always watch TYT Live from 3-5 pm ET, with a Rolling Post Game 5-7 pm daily Monday-Friday at www.theyoungturks.com The RPG often contains political talk but also many non-political topics to lighten things up (and yes, that audio may not necessarily be work-safe).

Also, if you can't watch live, the 3-5pm portion of the show (politics) streams the rest of the day, all day right after the Post Game Show ends leading up to the initial show at 3pm.

1. evil begets evil, and the evil hand that rocks the black crepe draped cradle...
rules the world and the underworld.

2. Couple points of disagreement....
First.....it's NOT "a double standard"...it's total control and manipulation of the media and information. We are living under the old Soviet Union's Pravda standards. We hear what they want us to hear....."they" being this criminal administration and the corporate neocon fascists.

Secondly, barbara bush says it like she thinks it. It just slides by. This lady doesn't make slip of the tongue "mistakes", she says what she believes...and this is what she believes. They really think the poor are happy living in filth and lawlessness of the Metro-dome instead of in their own neighborhoods and homes. The dumb bitch believes it.

I absolutely REFUSE to fly in and out of Houston, TX....also known as the george w. bush Int'l Airport. Not only is it the most rude and frustrating airport I have ever had the displeasure to fly through, but it is named after the sperm donor of Rosemary's baby....the criminal in charge.

This whole family is demented. I won't go any further. Maybe they will ALL pack up and head to Saudi Arabia once they have finished raping and damaging the US beyond return?

5. Yeah, Hulk,
The degree of media control is frightening. And it is so well done that ordinary citizens aren't even aware that they are being fed daily garbage. They simply eat it up. 1984 is here, now.

As I've said, Democrats would be better off if they focused their monetary resources on starting a TV News network. A network that was REALLY fair and balanced.

10. Couple of points of agreement and disagreement.
Agree:
The media is a tool of the corporatist establishment
They, the corporatist elite believe they have a God given right to be rich and rule the poor.
Barbara does say it like she believes. She is not a politician and has never learned to lie. She is evil and she don't care.

Disagree:
I doubt that the Saudi's will have anything to do with them once their usefulness is gone. I am betting on them moving to Dubai, the haven/heaven for corporatist and war criminals. They will be able to have cocktails with Ken Lay.

12. Not sure they will head off to Saudi Arabia - Babs wouldn't be able
To imbibe liquor (They behead you or somethin' for drinking hard stuff there.)

But the Bushes are interested in taking over and privatizing the water interests
of Paraquay. Big money there. ANd it is one of the nations that doesn't extradite people who are wanted for war crimes elsewhere.

3. GW tends to take after the "Walkers" more than the Bushes
"If the Bushes were self-contained, duty-bound, and steady, the Walkers were aggressive risk-takers who wanted to win at all costs. The fusion of these two families would make for a potent genetic cocktail." (The Bushes, Portrait of a Dynasty)

George Walker, who GWB was named after, was a nasty, heavy drinking SOB. His daughter Dorothy married Prescott Bush (GW's grandfather). It appears GW got more Walker genes than Bush genes. Throw in Barbara (bitch genes) and you get GWB!

9. Throw in some of the Pierce genes
and you have double heavy drinking whammy as well.

'...Her ancestor Thomas Pierce, an early New England colonist, was also an ancestor of Franklin Pierce, the 14th president of the United States. She is a direct descendant, great-great-granddaughter, of James Pierce, Jr. who was a fourth cousin of President Pierce...' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbara_Bush

Franklin Pierce
'...His good looks and inoffensive personality caused him to make many friends, but he suffered tragedy in his personal life and as president subsequently made decisions which were widely criticized and divisive in their effects, thus giving him the reputation as one of the worst presidents in U.S. history....
'...After losing the Democratic nomination, Pierce continued his lifelong struggle with alcoholism as his marriage to Jane Means Appleton Pierce fell apart. His reputation was further damaged when he declared support for the Confederacy. He died in 1869 from cirrhosis....' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Pierce

11. Franklin Pierce had good reason to turn to alcohol
He had lost two sons and his wife felt it was a curse caused by his political life. He left politics but eventually was persuaded to run for president. After his victory, en route to Washington, his surviving son fell from the train and was beheaded in front of his father. It is hardly a surprise that he was an ineffectual president with a weakness for the drink. His was an extremely tragic life.

6. The bigotry of projecting lesser needs onto lesser people (in their minds) is a very powerful force.
I see it all the time working in a job related to insurance. I see adjusters tell themselves, "Oh, they don't need that money, they'll be fine" all the time. Because they don't see a human being when they see a claimant. They see a big bag of problems that they wish would just go away, so they project their wishful thinking onto them.

Barbara Bush said the same thing about kids who had just lost their homes in Katrina, "they're underprivileged anyway, this is working out quite nice for them."

How do you win a debate with someone who has so thoroughly convinced themselves of a different reality that doesn't demand so much of them?

16. I have it on good authority that Senior cheated on Babs when he was
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 08:17 PM by ooglymoogly
in Africa with a woman who's name was thought to be Cheetah and very much resembled a chimp. Babs rather than admit to her social climbing friends that she had been cheated on raised it as her own and taught it to walk upright and mimic human behavior.

I suppose the rest of her is so ugly, she must convince herself that her mind is beautiful, but the mind and heart are uglier than the rest of her.

At least Babs didn't say that for the first time she was really really proud of her country, or something equally un-American.

That, that thing of hers gave us dumbya and Jeb and Marvin and Neil. Worthless crooks, every one, all emerging from the same hellhole.

21. No bread? No milk? No housing?
Let them eat cake! Why should I worry my pretty mind with the poor? If you ever wondered what or who made George W. Bush the man he is, look no further. Evil with a string of pearls around it's neck. A mentor and big fan of Dick Cheney.
