Support the troops, blah, blah, blah. Whatever you do don't
listen to them speak truth about the horrors of war! For four
days veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars told their
personal stories about the reality of war on the ground. Where
was the media?

A media that is supposed to be a mouthpiece for Liberal
propaganda passed on a chance to rub Republicans noses in the
horror that their arrogant and incompetent administration
unleashed on our troops and the people of the Middle East.

For four days REAL soldiers, not "in-bedded" puppets
and blubbering phony war cheerleaders told their real life
stories while our President trotted around playing damage
control for his own pathetic ass.

The Bush administration has ushered in the era of the media
friendly fantasy war. Where reality is made up like a video
game plot and blood, pain, death and mutilation is invisible.
A war bought on credit with the citizens paying the bill.

Why? Because this war especially was trumped up on lies and misconceptions that the media and their professional punditry paid by the GOP have been telling average Americans. A war cannot be maintained on lies and half-truths, not while good people die on both sides. Iraqi civilians, as well as American soldiers.....

If this war was really a noble one, you wouldn't see Chickenhawks talking shit. Even they know this war is BS... it's why they aren't willing to make the sacrifice themselves. WWII? People enlisted and were proud to... they understood what was at stake! This war? We all know it's BS, even the chickenhawks promoting it!
