Fuckyou.

---> "Remember back in junior high, when you had that friend that the bullies picked on all the time? And you defended that friend, who really never did all that much for you, which led to you getting your ass kicked a few times yourself? And then you got to high school and your friend joined up with the bullies? It's kind of like that."

4. WTF.
yourself. It was a cackle.

The real outrage should be over how any well-intentioned Dem can still defend her bullshit.

6. I dunno, it seemed slightly guffaw-ish to me.
Or at least as close to a guffaw as you can get from an alto voice -- generally it's men who guffaw because they're the ones with the big vocal cords. It was a hearty laugh, if a little raspy. Now, if she were a soprano, it might have been a cackle.

Not that it's of any importance policy-wise. Everyone has vocal tics of some kind. I'm also pretty sure that if Hillary gets the nomination, her "cackle" will sound to you like a clear, bubbling stream, while if Barack gets it, his slightly halting, clipped manner of speaking will sound to Hillary supporters like solid, thoughtful certainty. And McCain will sound in either case like that mean old guy next door who won't give you your ball back if it falls inside his fence.

your comment over and above the title of the video is a perfect example why I can't have any kind of decent conversation on the relative strengths and weaknesses of our top two candidates.

and you claim the 'real outrage' is that any 'well intentioned' dem could support Sen. Clinton

I will just state that EITHER of the top two Democratic Candidates are light years better than the best Repuke.

you could have used any number of other words meaning 'laughter'

chortle
chuckle
giggle
snicker
snigger
teehee
titter

but no, you chose the one that that implies Sen. Clinton is an old hen.

My comment stands.

edit to add, I watched the video and I would have characterized the laugh in question as a 'hearty chuckle'

YMMV (obviously)

i`ve read that for months here at du from the hillary supporters.

she has a friendly discussion with a major player in the swift boating of kerry and the funding of the rest of the scum who cost kerry the election in 2004. then she laughs about it...pretty fucking sick shit in my opinion.

she`ll do anyone to secure her throne...

12. I'm mad.
Just the fact that Hillary has been mathematically eliminated yet she stays in the race shows me lack of clear judgment. Any person willing to put their own personal aspirations above their party, and country shows me that she is not meant for the presidential office. Everyday that she stays in the race she aids John McCain. If she wants McCain in office so that he can destroy the country even further, and than she can swoop into office like an avenging angel in 2012, she is not thinking clearly. She would be such damaged goods by 2012 that anyone from the Republican party would be able to beat her. I am getting really frustrated.

13. Sexist remarks...
We're at the point where Hillary supporters can only continue to defend her if they choose to ignore the substantive issues and see everything as a sexist remark. Everytime the woman does something wrong, her supporters get hung up on subtleties that aren't at issue... I suppose the idea is that if the author is a sexist than it means he (or she) could plausably be spinning the facts?

Let's assume that this happens a few times... that still leaves a lot of Hillary mistakes and attacks that can't fall behind that excuse.

Can liberals really justify Hillary's shift to pandering to the right-wing media that trashed her for years?

Can sexism explain why Hillary bold faced lied about her stance on NAFTA and the Kosovo trip? I mean, I can forge an argument about how unfair it is that she needs to appear strong to get the votes... but I don't see how this can be spun to excuse the lying.

What it comes down to is why independent voters can't stand her. SHE'S A BLATANT POLITICAL CALCULATOR. I understand it from a political perspective, but I find it extremely hard to defend. And when she gets caught up in a tough situation, she'll lie her way out of it. It's the story of the campaign.

Now someone tell me why I'm a sexist because I am disgusted by Hillary coming out and shaming Obama in public and then later on we find out that the was actually a public supporter of NAFTA.

Plus, can you really play the sexist card when your campaign will push the race issue to the edge?

I think there is a lot of sexist stuff going on in the campaign just like there's a lot of racist stuff going on. The difference between Obama and Clinton is that Obama came out and eloquently discussed the race issue with Americans like an adult. Clinton just played victim when it benefitted her politically. Come on, America, Clinton would be the same calculating liar if she were a man. It's just the political game she plays.
