It has been reported before that Jones let Obama take credit for bills that other people had been trying to get through the senate in Illinois.

It bears repeating here.

And I know that it is true that few people here in Illinois had heard of him before 2004. He didn't even bother to visit the rest of the state during his primary run. That is very insulting to the grassroots.
