1. I do not think this is a very good idea

I worry it will bring these women more harm them good. Either way, they are in a very troubling situation to say the least.

2. I think the average rapist is going to be more concerned

with getting all the needles out of his willie than exacting revenge on his target. The revenge would come later, unfortunately.

The problem in South Africa is that folk medicine tells men that sex with a virgin will cure AIDS. Little girls are being raped by HIV positive men who buy that shit.

Just knowing some little girls out there are armed and dangerous might discourage rape, which is now rampant.

3. I agree with CherylK

While initially you might be right, is it really that impossible to believe that (especially for someone that's drunk and or high on whatever) would begin pounding a poor woman's face in his agony, even irrationally to try to make the pain stop? Isn't that almost reflexive?

Also, would rapists start looking for these contraptions to take them out first? And finally, they might turn to anal sex as word spread, etc.

This just seems like a really crude idea that carries many potential risks.

Wouldn't the rapists just start checking first. And probably react even more violently if they find the device.

7. Not a good idea....

So, a man rapes a woman and either beats the hell out of her on the spot, or eventually hunts her down and kills her. The sad thing is...a woman shouldn't have to even resort to wearing some contraption as to not get raped. There has to be a better way....
