Has anyone asked him about the publicized name-calling of his current wife? or, for that matter, since they scraped back 40 years to get something on Obama, maybe they could ask McCain about his first wife, who stood by him and who he dumped so he could marry the rich heiress and kick-start his political career...

5. I still suspect there was method in their (ABC's) madness.

When it comes to "character issues" -- what they really want to know is who is going to come through shining when the RW attacks. By harassing the candidates -- esp Obama -- with the old tired issues (which for some people are still issues) I think he was able to effectively demonstrate the quality of his character.. while Hillary fell for the ruse and showed herself once again to be out of touch with what's really going on in America.

I'm getting more convinced of this. This debate was for the SD's, not the Pennsylvania voters. Obama's going to win this, and soon I think.

16. My Own True Personal Story About Mr. Westin

Years ago, back in the 80s, he and I worked at the same law firm in D.C. He was a partner, and I was a Paralegal. Even though he was married with very young children, he had a torrid affair with one of the female Paralegals at the firm. He gave her preferential treatment, and he left his wife and his two young children for her.

So, when he talks about character isssues, I just belly laugh until it hurts.
