Guys - my husband produced this video of a song his partner/best friend wrote.

Warning: it's an "earworm" - excruciatingly catchy. You'll be singing it all night (assuming you're an Obama fan).

Everyone involved had such a good time, and we're so happy with this! It was a really positive, exhilarating experience!

I hope you guys like it - it's our first such production.

I'm so proud - everyone was in such a good mood and we all sort of encouraged each other. And while we were new at creating something like this, everyone else involved had also not been in such a project before, either! Well, my son's been in some music videos - and played in some, but that's a different arena entirely.

And yes, I must say, everything is up there on the screen - like they say in the movies - the fun that shows is the fun we were actually having. Everybody felt like they were working on something that was for the greater good of this country that we love (whether or not we're all hung up on wearing cheap-ass Made-in-China flag pins). Everyone was happy to be there, whether they already knew each other or not.

full-on official video like this before. I don't count, in that category, the fun little family ones we created for our own enjoyment of the kids' birthday parties and school events and stuff. And he's a stickler for details in that regard. Kind of an electronic wonk, he is. And it's a good thing. The song is awfully catchy, isn't it? We were all moving and bopping and swaying and having a great time with it.

We had such a great cross-section of people - just people we knew and liked - and it fit so beautifully, thematically-speaking, for what Barack is about. All of us who've been locked out and been stuck with hind teat for AT LEAST the past seven-and-some years finally have a chance to sit at the big table with this guy. I know, myself, that I haven't felt like anyone's represented me or my interests or my priorities - for even longer than that. As long as the republi-CONS have been in power, I've been one of those holding the short end of the stick. And I'm FRICKIN' SICK OF IT!!! And YES, I'm PLENTY bitter - for myself and for the MILLIONS of other Americans who've had to cope with the royal shaft, and crumbs from the table - if we're lucky.

I HOPE God has decided to bless America yet again.
