1. The Obama campaign needs a better spokesman, especially for the GE.
Alexrod in most interviews stumbles, mumbles, and gives meager answers more akin to the sound bites of a political hack. He's a poor spokesman. Obama can do far better.

5. I haven't watched this specific video yet. I'm speaking in relation to all other interviews ...
so far this election. In nearly all of them, he gives sound bite type answers that don't always directly address the question and usually after stumbling and stuttering. He's proven himself a quality strategist, but he better not be the public face of the Obama campaign in the GE...and I suspect he won't be for the reasons I've stated.

13. well, you should watch it so you can make an informed comment
its worth it - you can watch it to see what Garin says if you aren't interested
in seeing Axelrod schooling him.

12. I think Axelrod hated to do it, I think they're friends, Garin's not a Clinton type
he was trying to argue on behalf of Clinton, but the reasoning
is just to flat.

But Axelrod didn't miss a beat!

He is awesome!!!!

2. Russert-Garin-Clinton Triangulation
Geoff Garin was obviously channeling Dana Perino on Meet the Press this morning because he came across like a complete buffoon. He made some idiotic statement about when Hillary is President everyone will be expected to do and publicly support whatever position she takes--as if to fully explain her support of NAFTA during the Clinton Administration. So in other words she did not feel free to be an independent thinker when Bill was in the center chair? That is just a sad statement if true. Also someone at Clinton headquarters should have prepped him for twenty minutes or so to explain why Mark Penn was "dismissed" from the campaign team. Axelrod was all over him and Garin sounded like the fifth grade nerd. If Garin is any indication of Clinton's best and brightest at this point in the campaign it is no wonder that Obama is kickin her butt. Is Garin related to someone famous or what? Why put Mr. Potato Head at the top of the food chain.

9. Garin has only been with the campaign a few weeks.. if that!
I watched it this morning.. He did very well considering he is not her policy strategist and not quite up to speed on her current policys on the stump.

Axelrod is as smooth a tongued snake oil salesman as you could expect to find. Something has him spooked. I guess his whisper swiftboating campaign against Sen Clinton is not enough. He needs to form an entire arm of a Swiftboating team to fend off the attacks he's heard about coming Obama's way..

7. Garin did what he could. She's going in circles.
Nobody with any integrity can make up a story that makes Clinton's positions and behavior hang together in a rational, sensible way. She is all over the map, contradicting herself almost daily.

not a bad guy, but not a match for Axelrod.

16. Yes, I guess so
My first reaction was that the guy wanted to be anywhere but there. "Just get me out of this no-win situation."

Decent of him not to follow the same scorched earth playbook the campaign is using.

And the fact that he is headng up Mr. Obama's campaign explains worlds about why the campaign has been so dirty.

...is this how they really think? Exposure is equivalent to experience? In what capacity was she a member of President Clinton's administration?
