...but McCain is a man of unusual courage.

Oh, that's just grand.

I hate Hillary, Rendell and all they stand for. Fuck the lot of them.

It is poetic, however, the way these young voters tell the smarmy old bastard to take his spew somewhere else.

1. funny thing. He brought up how Obama supporters can't name a position that he takes, then...

when some student brought up college loans, he asked if anyone knew Clinton's bill that she passed. Naturally, no one knew. People haven't paid attention to Hillary either, so by the Gov.'s own logic, she is full of fluff too.

6. Wow, what an arrogant old school politician who has no clue that...
the kind of rhetoric he spews is why the younger voters are supporting Obama in droves.

7. Where those kids
Tied to their seats. Brought in at gun point to listen to Rendell. Too bad nobody got to talk about why they believe Obama would be a better President than Hillary. They should have booed him for the Kool Aid remark.

9. "Drink the Kool-Aid" is a phrase that is used for people that accept initiation into death cults
I didn't even watch half of it. That is disgusting thing to say about members of your own party.

My "fond" Ed Rendell memory: as DNC Chairman in 2000, he was one of the first national Party officials to call on Al Gore to concede to Dub.

So, Guv, whose "Kool Aid" was impairing whom back then, hmm?:eyes:

B-)

17. The kids are right
Anyone who supports anyone other than Senator Clinton is irrational and pathological and has been from the beginning.

People are tired of having old pols tell them they are stupid for disagreeing with them. We're not stupid for rejecting Clinton. Maybe in a different year she would have been the candidate to beat the Republicans, but not this time. This election was about change before Obama was even a candidate, and Clinton's not the one we would turn to for change. They had their chance, failed at health care (but succeeded at NAFTA and ending welfare). Maybe Clinton's a fighter, but she seems to lose the big ones.

Young people grew up with the Clintons, and know them pretty well by now. Maybe Rendell should consider, for a nanosecond, that the kids are right.

18. It wasn't that insulting
I thought he was going to go into a rage about people not supporting his candidate, but he seemed somewhat more rational. On the issues or in their voting there really isn't a giant difference between Obama & Hillary, so people are going to look elsewhere on who to support. And since Obama has only been in the senate for 3 years naturally his track record is not impeccable. But anyone who wants to brush up can start here.
