Always one to take the "high" road, Rush Limbaugh is
hoping to incite riots at the 2008 Democratic Convention that
rival the 1968 Chicago convention with his drug addled brain
child, "Operation Chaos", a plan that attempts to
game the Democratic primary.

Limbaugh, during his show on April 23 said: "The dream
end of this is that this keeps up to the convention and we
have a replay of Chicago 1968 with burning cars, protests,
fires, literal riots, and all of that. That's that's the
objective here."

The poster boy of the rightists wants to see his party's
agenda get a few more years in the White House to finish the
fantastically successful plans they have put in to action thus
far and no legitimate election process is going to get in the
way.

No, Rush wants to see more of "The Way Things Ought to
Be". Can you blame him? Look at the swell job the
rightists have done so far!

I wanted to add to your excellent commentary by pointing out that "Operation Chaos" is a good example of "masturbatory gloating."

"Maturbatory gloating" is the act of making up a fantasy and then gloating about it--as if it were real.

Masturbatory gloating is not a sin. I suppose everyone does it once in a while--like imagining how distraught your ex-girlfriend will be when her new boyfriend jilts her. That sort of thing.

But wingers do it all the time. Judging from their behavior, they have an absolute physiological need for it.

And that's what Rush is doing with Operation Chaos.

The Tribe of Wingers lies bleeding on the ground, as it were. Rush is simply trying to soothe their wounds by imagining terrible things for the Democrats. This is Rush's job.

He is having a fantasy and smacking his lips. His eyes are glazed over. It's better than oxycontin. It's MASTURBATORY GLOATING!

And he seems to be turning this fantasy into a half-baked conspiracy. The need must be very strong right now.

3. Frank is right on with his last remark about RW'ers.

They talk a big talk, but they know that under today's Money-is-Everything society, they know they don't have to face real consequences for their actions and words.

I also prefer to call Limbaugh's followers "dildoheads" rather than "dittoheads." Dildoheads is more fitting because they have no brain and their heads are best used when up a body cavity.

8. Isn't it against the law to advocate screwing with the election...

process in this country? I don't mean Limbaugh's riot comments, but his switch your party for the primary stuff.
