2. Big mistake to go on Fox and reward the smarmy Wallace

and let him frame the issues.

But, in a sense, it DOES show progressive that Obama really isn't one.... lesser of two evils, at best -and all too willing to "accomodate" and sell us out on issue after issue, and procedure after procedure in the Senate.

Sad, but not unexpected- or anything that those of us who've been paying attention over the past several years haven't seen and heard before....

4. Decent interview overall, good he didn't stick to the BS issues for too long which was a surprise...

Would have preferred Obama were more forceful regarding the Rev. Wright question for the umpteenth time and just told him to STFU about it and go watch the Moyers interview in full, but it seemed Obama himself hadn't got the chance to see that interview as well bc he was all over the place this weekend.

Good response on the John McCain tax and spend question. Keep treating McCain's accusations as a complete joke, with facts and a smile of course ;)

8. As I said last night, "The Master Stroke".

One of the things I was baffled by about General Wesley Clark post WesBlog's inception, was his contributorship on FAUX News. It took me a while, but once he asserted his independence to Wallace and Hannity in his interviews, I knew what he was doing.

He knew that, eventually, the Democrats needed to confront FAUX News on camera, from a position of strength, and often, if Dems were to have a fighting chance in November '08. It may be the only way to access this huge (and hugely miss-informed) American demographic.

I know, I've heard all the jokes, and dismissals. But they are our fellow Americans. And they're not all lost to reason. Hillary knows this too. That's why she has been courting FAUX. But that's not what Obama has to do. There will be no "hand holding", or gushy, lovie-dovey moments with the interviewers (uhemm).

From the Saturday Wallace/Obama interview Clip, it is clear that it was a congenial, thorough interview, but it was not Hillary praising the Faux bobbling heads. He was reaching out to the viewers, just as Wes Clark was doing when he took the job as a military analyst. He was not a Rummy Puppet, and he lead the charge with the dissenting Generals, and the Fighting Dems (Jim Webb, Patrick Murphy, Joe Sestack, ect). Such is why there are so many Clarkies backing Obama.

Making them wait 2 years was as brilliant as it gets. And he don't even have to convince many viewers. If he only gets 3 to 5% of the target viewers, it would be a land slide of historic proportions!

I think, as long as he don't except the endorsement of either Hannity, or The Big Talking Loofah, he will have pulled it off.

Coupled with Rev. Wright's apperence at the NAACP dinner in Detroit (now playing on CNN).

12. Fox is over.. Yet Again they lose in their Big Interview.
Hahahahahahaha!!!!! Obama smoked Chris Wallace! I have seen this now a bunch of times, when everyone is supposed to be afraid of big bad wolf of Fox News.

... and every time when you go on there, answer their questions, Fox News gets smoked! They promote this HUGE Battle and every time Fox News has lost!

Obama didn't even have to do it like Bill Clinton did, which was another smoking but in a different way, Obama just answered all their questions.

Can now Fox News finally be considered a joke! 24/7 Obama Coverage... all these Impodent White Men "Reporters" saying IF they had a chance to ask him this or that... They had ALL their questions ready and what happened - he answered them all with a smile on his face. Calm and Cool.

ALL these "Fox News vs. " Hyped events and in EVERY SINGLE ONE Fox News has lost!

The Infomercial doesn't work when you get the direct answer back ..... now have your Impotent White Man Spin it for months. Now the Old White Sheep will need their Impotent Leaders to tell them what they should think

What a Joke! 24/7 and they couldn't even make Obama even slightly sweat.
