1. Americans not driving is bad for the economy...

they most likely would shop less. Reducing sales tax revenue. I agree with Obama but anyway you look at it rising gas prices is a serious matter.

If not maniulated by the corporate aristocracy we'd probably have had hybrid cars 20 years ago.

Ever wonder why during the worst possible gas crunch EVER the HUMMER is one of the most advertised vehicles? It's a fooking shell game and the 'free market' is only 'free' with the corpsocracy's exception.
