2. Did you watch it?
That "someone else" is an idiot. She did not bash Obama, she was talking about her plans.

In contrast to most the Obama supporters her, she does not need to bash Obama to promote her program.

3. I have Fox News and a DVR, of course I couldn't miss it
BTW, the fact that she happily went on O'Reilly's show (you know, Bill O'Reilly, right wing hack and hater of anyone who's not blatantly right wing) and knocked his *anti-Obama softballs* out of the park (which delighted the entire Fox News network, viewing audience and of course, the McCain campaign which probably cracked open some champagne) *would* probably be considered "bashing" to most people.

Add that to her McCain praising (he's more qualified and experienced than Obama to be commander in chief and of cours he loves his country, unlike Obama), "as far as I know" resume.

21. Cenk makes more sense and has more facts backing his statements than O'Reilly ever had.
Hillary is pandering to the RW media by granting this interview, thinking that if she's nominated, they'll go easy on her in the general election campaign.

If you believe that, I have some lunar swampland I'd like to sell you.

Regardless of who's the Democratic nominee, they better have a massive supply of asbestos underwear because the RNC and all their media stooges will flame on that candidate to where it makes the 2004 campaign look like a backyard weenie roast.

29. And Obama appearing on Chris Wallace? Was it pandering, too?
Or does your idol can do no wrong, while Hillary can do no right?

4. The more I listen to Hillary, the more I KNOW I don't want her over Obama.
Just more of the same. Big promises.....beholding to big interests. Bullshit City. I'm not buying it. I'm as convinced that she is going to attack big oil and the insurance companies as I am that the chimp is going to take a teaching position at Yale when he is tossed out of office.

Pure bullshit. I'd take her over mcAncient..but that's about as good as it gets.

And bor....what an ass!

7. Since when do we want to see dems working with terrible Fox News hosts?
Edited on Thu May-01-08 12:22 AM by ihavenobias
Seriously, put Hillary and Obama aside for a moment. I thought we were progressives and that we all realized how awful (in so many ways for so many reasons) Fox News/Bill O'Reilly is?

Now suddenly we're cheering for it? This is REALLY disturbing and incredibly myopic.

http://foxattacks.com/

PS----I had a problem with Obama going on Fox the other day and I even posted a clip of Cenk of TYT being very critical of how Obama handled himself there (and commented that I was unhappy with Obama). At any rate, Obama's segment wasn't dominated by softball questions meant to bash Hillary about BS issues (sniper fire, etc. And yes, I think the sniper thing was totally overblown).

Funny isn't it? I'm for Obama yet I can also criticize him. You might try the same for Hillary.

26. Stop speaking for all of us...I support Obama and I think she did a good job on O'Reilly
My support hasn't changed. I hope Obama gets the nomination, but I think Hillary did a great job in the interview. If only she handled her campaign this well.

10. This is just outrageous, what an sociopathic egomaniac
he is! He interrupts her when he disagrees, when he is in a hurry to speak, when he .... god! and she sits there and takes it! she is SO much more intelligent than he, and, yes, it is good, I suppose, to have her speak one on one with someone who challenges her and who disagrees, but it was one cartoonish characterization after another, so little valuable information in with the nonsense.
What a shame that this man is in the powerful position he is in. Very sad and worrying.

11. This, apparently, is his trade mark
This is the first time that I "watched" his show (or these videos, not live). He is known to start shouting "shut up" to his guests when he disagrees with them.

This is why her performance is so great - she let him spin his own rope. She did not bash Obama, she did not even bash NBC (or, better yet, MSNBC). And she manage to finish her own sentences. And, I suppose, he was more polite toward her than he is known toward other guests. I bet Olbermann will have a field day with that fact.

Chris Matthews is just as bad and, yes, even Jon Stewart. They ask a question and immediately continue to "explain" or to answer themselves, not letting their guests to reply.

30. And you don't ask why Obama appeared on Chris Wallace?
and, of course, the MSNBC/Newsweek crowd has been kissing Obama's butt since day one, since "someting crawled up their leg" and grab their shriveled balls.

But you don't puke at Olbermann and Matthews, now, do you? It is OK for them to never ask anything of him, never challenge him, to only have guests that will praise him and bash Hillary. This is OK with you.

And then you wonder why Hillary supporters will stay home on November.

13. Why would anyone in the dem party want to give Faux crdibility espec BO
Obama and Clinton...there's a reason we don't watch Faux...You only make yourself look ridiculous by talking to them. Hey, here's an idea, let's go let ourselves be interviewed by ASSHOLES. That will show 'em we're not afraid (show who I still don't know) What's next...an interview with Rush Limbaugh/Dick Cheney. Remember Hillary, BO is still trying to find homeless vets, and Obama, Wallace is trying to pin Bin Ladden escapes to do 9/11 on Bill Clinton. What is wrong with you people?...you do not need to suck up to Faux.

19. O'Reilly made it look easy
He knows, like the rest of the GOP lot, who they are going up against in November. So he was being jovial to get her talking and playing along when the "guns of November" questions came.

We're "not acting like Americans" because we're allowing other countries to act in their own interest? Who made her Supreme Ruler?
